Eligibility Criteria for Eric Bleumink Fellowship
To be considered for the fellowship, applicants must:
- Have received conditional admission to a Master’s program at the University of Groningen.
- Be from a country listed as “developing” by the Dutch government.
- Demonstrate exceptional academic performance.
- Have excellent English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.).
- Be available for the entire program duration.
- Have no other means of financing their study.
Application/ Selection Process
- First, apply to a Master’s program at the University of Groningen.
- Faculties review applications and nominate top candidates.
- The University’s selection committee chooses the fellowship recipients.
Application Deadline
It is not possible to actively apply for an Eric Bleumink Fellowship Scholarship. Suitable candidates will be informed about a nomination. Only applicants who have received a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a master programme before February can thus be considered. In order to allow for enough time to process the application to a master programme by the Admission Office, such a master application should be completed by the applicant before 1st of December.
