The MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship is a prestigious annual initiative designed to uplift female international and DACA students pursuing STEM degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in the United States or Canada. Hosted by MPOWER Financing, this scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers, celebrate academic excellence, and cultivate global leaders in science and technology.
The Scholarship is awarded annually to female international/DACA students who are currently enrolled or accepted to study full-time in a STEM degree program at a program MPOWER supports in the United States or Canada.

Female scholars from all countries of the world.

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD courses in Biology/Life Sciences, Computer & Information Systems, Engineering, Health Professions, Mathematics, Psychology, Aviation, Nursing, Dental/Orthodontics, Chemistry, Applied Science, Game Design & Development, Computer Animation, Criminal & Forensic Science, Geology, Medicine, Nutrition, Physics and Science.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship, you must:
- Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at an MPOWER-eligible school in the U.S. or Canada
- Be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada.
- Have a valid visa that permits study in the U.S. or a valid Canadian study permit.
- Be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- Be a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder) or a Canadian permanent resident.
How to apply for the MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship
- Complete the online application form on MPOWER’s official site
- Submit required documents: Admission letter or transcript, proof of gender, nationality, and immigration status (e.g. passport, visa, DACA status)
- Write and submit a 200–500‑word essay describing your STEM goals, leadership vision, and how you’ll contribute to society or mentor other women in STEM
- Agree to MPOWER’s official Terms & Conditions, which include permission for promotional use of your basic details (where allowed)
