Do you wish to pursue your studies in the USA? Good news! Application for the ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships is now open. ACI Foundation is currently offering 48 fellowships and scholarships for high potential students in concrete-related graduate and undergraduate degree programs.
The ACI Foundation is a non-profit organization set up by the American Concrete Institute to support advancement, innovation and cooperation through support for studies and scholarships, while also serving as an autonomous resource to provide thoughtful management and strategic direction to the concrete sector.
The ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships scheme is a fully funded scheme for international students to study in U.S., Canada or Mexico. It is offered for Bachelors, Master’s, PhD, and Postdoctoral studies. This scholarship provides $10,000 – $15,000 US educational stipend for tuition, residence, books, and other materials.

Scholarship value and inclusion
Recipients will receive the following:
- $10,000 USD educational stipend for tuition, residence, books, and materials;
- Appropriate recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the Foundation website;
- Paid travel expenses and attendance fees to two ACI conventions (must be used during the award year). Fellowship finalists must attend the Spring ACI Convention to be interviewed.
- Matched with an industry mentor.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be proficient in the English language.
- Attend an institution in U.S., Canada or Mexico during the award cycle.
How to apply
- Submit your ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships application through the application link on the official website.
- Submit the following:
- Applicant’s contact and educational information.
- A resume – Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Acrobat Adobe (.pdf) format.
- A 500-word essay.
- Official transcripts – English language & with a 4.0 grading scale.
- Two endorsements (one MUST be an ACI member.

Application deadline
23:59 of November 1, 2025.
Those applicants chosen as finalists for the ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships will be notified by February 2026 and must be available to attend an interview with the Scholarship Council on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the spring ACI Concrete Convention. ACI Foundation will pay for the flight, hotel, registration, and will include a travel stipend.
